Please...asking me who my fav player is...is like asking Gremlin who his is.
It's known people...it's known, lmfao.

Cory Deuel when he doesn't have a tee time the next day.
Buddy Hall anytime
Mike Sigel - never saw him play in person but have his perfect videos and his 150 ball run sure are great.
Rodney Morris is like a machine.
Actually, my favorite is just about any of the pros that I see play in person.

The cheers for Efren are all well and good but I think you've really hit the nail here - so many cheers in this thread have been for a hometown hero or a 'guy I played once' or a pro who 'really seemed nice'. If the pool playing community appreciates those players they've had some exposure to such a degree imagine what Joe Average thinks when he says 'Earl Who?'"Actually, my favorite is just about any of the pros that I see play in person."

Not "playing" today (on tour): George "Ginky" SanSouci - one of the best pure, natural, effortless pool strokes I've ever seen - and I'm lucky enough to see him play semi regularly.

FYI, Ginky spent a lot of time studying the way the Fillipinos played when he was new on the pro scene. I believe it helped him become one of the clearest thinkers I've ever seen at the pool table.
PM me and we'll arrange a game. I'll be in town for the entire three day holiday weekend in case you're interested in setting something up.
