Huebler Also Made dealer cases

Craig, I think O'neil made them for Huebler and Mcdermott. I love those cases, you could lay them on their sides and stand on them and not hurt them. I still buy them when I see them on ebay if they don't go to high. I've got three of the McDermott 1x2's and one of the 10x10 McDermotts.
Someone posted in the for sale section a while back that he was in touch with O'neil and they were making them again.

Paul also made Dealer cases in his case shop, I have a pic of one of his 8x8
they looked just like his box cases and I think I even have a price list one them

Box cases....

I have a few of them.. They work great for storage..

Marcus, It's been a while but Rodcar said he was in touch with O'neil and they were making cases again. He posted in the wanted for sale section about it, but like I said it was over a year ago.

I have been waiting on an order of cases from O'Neil for over a year.

still clinging to hope

maybe some day.....

I talked to Mark from O'neil a few weeks ago. He said he has been out for a few months with heart problems and is now back trying to catch up on orders.

Great news that he will be back at it.

O'neil cases are legendary. So often when people talk about the big names in cases this one does not even come up, but it should.

Box cases are old school and cool. The best thing about them is that no one ever got a butt or a shaft stuck in the case....

I like the box style cases, to showcase a couple if my cues, and there are some really nice ones out there! Its Like framing a beautiful painting! but when I leave home, I like my 4x4 tube style, it's just easier, holds more, and I like to be prepared to help others! ;)

Old thread, I know, but thought this might be a good place to ask about the value of an O'Neil leather case I have coming. Said to be in nearly mint condition and holds two full cues (two storage areas). I seriously doubt I will carry this nice case so am wondering what it might be worth. Figure you guys will give it more thought than those in the main forum where I also asked.

I have the O'Neil 2 by 2 case, which I believe is the one you're referring to. It's been a while, but I believe the retail price a few years ago was something like $80.00 So, unless it has collector appeal, I suspect it would be worth something like $50 to $60. Also, I don't think they were made with a leather covering, though they look like leather. I believe it's a vinyl exterior, though I can't say there weren't custom cases with leather. Hope that helps.

I don't believe it is leather.

Nice ones have been selling above original retail on Ebay. I don't think it is collector value as much as it is market demand. With no new ones available the price goes up with demand.

.

Thanks guys, I'll just have to see what it is when it gets here. The fellow was pretty adamant about it being leather and not vinyl though. And he said it would hold another full cue (1B/2S) in addition to that shown.
