I think you've been missing class, JB. That's why you're behind.
1) It's easy to make a STRONG inference that CTE methodology DOESN'T involve generating lines from the OB to the pocket, or angles describing the path of the OB to the pocket.
Ok, so what? By using CTE the shooter can pocket balls. Wouldn't you like to know how?
2) Without such lines or angles (or, stretching, something that RELATES to them, like table dots), there is no aiming at pockets.
That's right there is no aiming AT pockets. Yet balls go into pockets accurately and consistently using the CTE method. Wouldn't you like to know how?
3) Without aiming there is no aiming system.
Huh? The purpose of "aiming" in pool is to get on the right line to pocket the ball, to have the cue stick AIMED along the proper line to contact the object ball and send it to the pocket. When pocketing the ball is the goal.
So any method that gets you there IS an aiming system.
4) CTE is not an aiming system. Whatever it IS might be wonderful--but whatever that is, it's just not an AIMING system.
You needed another bullet point to say the same thing? Now all you have to fall back on is semantics? By your definition is ANYTHING an aiming "system".
Let me see if I can help you a little.
1. AIM the center of the cueball to the edge of the object ball.
2. AIM the cuestick tip to the edge of the cue ball.
3. Pivot to center and now the cuestick is AIMED at the proper line to make the ball.
1,2,3. Do this the same way for every shot. That's the simplest version. If you want to know more then invent a new identity and make friends with the people who can fill in the gaps for you.
It "ain't" not a system just because you don't know how to do it.
That's the latest classwork. It's not difficult to remember.[/QUOTE]
