Why Dennis O is best in world

The idea I am sharing is that in this country he is really becoming the dominant male player by far. So why would he be excited about matching up in a coin toss with Orcollo?

More to the point why would his backer? For a backer/player relationship to work, they need to book winners 70% of the time right??? How can the backer make money winning 1/2 the bets and still profit when sharing money when the player wins? Any big game no doubt requires backer approval. The backer is not going into games for pride or status...only the almighty dollar.

So although we want to see all these top matchups, a lot has to be settled before they even go off. Look how hard it is for shortstops and bangers to matchup. It is not any easier for pros, unless it has free gauranteed paydays. For 5K you could sponsor just about any matchup.

True, in the last half of the set they both missed some. I saw SVB miss the 1 ball that was a very easy shot.. by a wide margin he missed. By then he had already checked out mentally.

Nobody will win them all, you just need to win most and stay in action to get places. Staying in action is always the hard part.

someone Orcollo beats.

You won't see Shane playing Orcollo a match for big money.

You might see them playing for a few thou. in a TAR match with TAR putting up all the money, but for the big money you won't see it.

I never said I didn't want to bet on SVB against Dennis, I said I wouldn't stake the game. I think it is a very close game and giving up odds on the money doesn't make sense to me.

I will tell you what when they play and they will, I will bet with you up to 5,000 on Shane, that is if you post since I don't know you and don't care for your posting style.

Well, I 'm sure you will get a bet when someone likes Dennis as much as this guy. I've always said if you really want to see how someone likes a game, see if they will bet with the same confidence they do when betting nothing!:D

IMO when you're talking about the very best pool players in the world, there is not much to separate them. Any one of the top ten guys can beat any one of the others on a given day. NO ONE is dominant! But there may well be 10 to 15 players who are clearly above the pack. These are the guys who know how to win the big ones. Shane and Dennis are definitely two of them!

I'd say there are at least 50 elite level players on the planet today, some of whom don't make it to all the international events. Ten each in China, Taiwan, Philippines, Europe and the rest of the world including USA. It's not only Shane who is capable of holding his own internationally. Johnny, Dennis Hatch, Rodney, Dechaine, Stevie and Corey are still elite level players. A few more guys like Brandon are knocking on the door.

I agree. You can also take a good player most have never heard of that can win a race to 11 against any player. I think Mike, Morra and Shuff are not close to their peak yet. Watch out for these three;)!
 
Who likes Dennis playing Johnny on his goldcrown? I know Dennis would be a favorite and most think he would be stealing, but I think most would get surprised.

Denis is playing the best 10 ball right now, however I dont believe he is the best ever, the best now. alex said the same thing 2 years ago. So he has been in the top spot for sometime.

his 1P game is soft, i watched him play in Santa Monica and get beat even, he made some very serious mistakes-poor shot choices, even his fire power couldnt overcome his mistakes. He has a lot to learn before he can beat any top 1P players.

Are you saying that Dennis is the best in the world....:rolleyes:.....i guess you just know a little in this pool world.....there is one guy in the taiwan named Yang Ching Shun....he CAME to Phillipines.. (Dennis hometown) to beat him 2 years in a row...race to 60 and race to 100......ask your player (Dennis) if he got a guts to came to Taiwan and fight the top taiwanese player in their hometown......
right now even Dennis can not said the best in Phillipines....there is Carlo Biado there....but, i believe you got no clue who is Carlo Biado...:rolleyes:
