1. I've met Joey and seen him post for 20 years. He's a solid guy in my book.

2. I've never met Lou, but he seems ok to me too.

3. What would really reinvigorate AZB is another $10k or so grudge match. All the pieces seem to be in alignment for a great Joey vs. Lou one pocket race or ahead set. We just need Joey and Lou to agree, and some good photoshop work from Spidey and Cleary.

Also, I find it very easy to read what I find interesting and skip the rest. If you just do that, then AZB is still a pretty good place.

I don't know either one of them, but, if they play heads up, I'm picking Joey.

I think we should have more Az matches anyway, cut down on some of the woofing.

Joey Aguzin is as good of a man as anyone could be in my book, the fact that he has no fear of telling people what is on his mind solidifies that. Great topic and great responses from my friend Joey....

I agree. I sent Joey cues to try out and exchanged PM's with him a few times casually over the years and had discussions on the phone. He has always answered questions I've had faithfully and honestly. I have found Joey to be a very likeable, trustworthy pool enthusiast.

He first got my attention by being commentator on some online matches. He has played and beat many good players for money and it's clear he knows the game.

I know that since I have found the "ignore user" feature, I enjoy the forum a lot more. That way I don't get in the trap of arguing with someone I can't stand. Just ignore and move on... :)

Good grief, Tash, what is it with you and that damned ignore feature you keep talking about? Did it ever occur to you that you may be ignoring something really important?

Pat, give him a break. Apparently he's still butt hurt about God knows what from the RSB/ASP days. He may be beyond help.

Lou Figueroa

I don't get butt hurt about anything.... You and PJ are just assholes to humanity, no big deal.

Dude, this is not the first time you've brought up me and RSB. What was that? At least 10 years ago?!

Definitely butt hurt.

There should be an argument forum for people to let off steam and bark at each other.

Funny thing: I was in NOLA a few years back. Created thread about it here, talked about it for days before, and spent a few days at Buffalo's. Never a peep nor sign of Joey. Not even to buy me the drinks he's owed me for years. I though he'd at least show some hospitality in his hometown after I had just chauffeured him around Vegas because he wanted to eat Kobe steak and he didn't have a rental car and I did.

I figured out why though. Every time at Buffalo's I'd asked about Joey, guys would respond, "Oh, you mean the biggest nit in New Orleans?" It was especially funny when I was playing a regular at Buffalo's some 1pocket and he stopped to ask another guy walking past our table, "Who's the biggest nit in New Orleans?" And the guy immediately responded, "Joey." (That's a true story, BTW.) I also went to Jamie's room and he told me the same thing about Joey. Had me laughing out loud at a couple of stories he told me.

Funny that I got the same response every time I have been to St. Louis and mentioned your name.

If you ever get the nads to play Joey I will be happy to back him for everything I can bring to the table.

Oh and you ducked me when I announced I would be in St. Louis and spent time at your favorite room waiting for you. Too bad you can't go into that great room any more as you are barred, for nittiness.

Joey, however is welcome in every room in the country.

I agree 100%.

The only thing I can't figure out is why everybody is complaining when AZB is "free". I didn't do a forensic count like other people do on here to prove a point, but, from what l see, most of the complainers have free accounts.

If they were paying for something, it may be a different story.

Aloha.

I paid and even donated part of my sales to AZB as well as donated cases to the prize funds.. But if there is no protection against people trolling and making defamatory comments I see no reason to financially support a community that won't get rid of those who contribute nothing but conflict.
