Why the entry fee for tour members???

Why are tour members asked to pay a 200.00 entry fee for events that guarantee even last place finishers alot more than that? I believe this is an issue that may have been overlooked inititally but it makes no sense at all.

Could it be that the IPT is collecting these fees (30k total) to completely
and entirely fund their tournaments?

To paraphrase your own reply to my husband's thread:

"You are one naive dolt if you believe that it only cost thirty
thousand dollars to run that tournament, lol."

The food alone for 200 players (Vegas and Chicago) + a staff of 30 + the 10 refs at these venues for 9 days and 3 meals/day is more than $30K! And don't forget the extra 6 days they rent the 60,000 sf room for setup and takedown...they are still feeding and housing those people.

Ok Einstein......seeing as you appear to think of a highly intelligent bloke like Colin Colenso as a simpleton there is little hope for thickos like me.......so perhaps for me and the other imbeciles in this forum you would like to run us through the advanced mathematical equations which explain how US$ 30,000/- would "completely and entirely fund" any one of the IPT tournaments:rolleyes:

Your husband is slow because he believes that the tourney cost in
excess of three million to run, just plumb dumb.

There is an inference that you evidently missed, the IPT is not actually paying for most of the costs you believe they are.

Feel free to email Earl all you want about anything I said about him. Evidently you did not read the part where he had me confused with another Asian woman who posted something detrimental about Earl. Since that incident with him, and watching all his snits in the IPT, I do not hold him in very high regard.
