I don't know if this has been posted here but, apparently this is home video uploaded onto YouTube (It was only done about six weeks ago) of Mosconi hosting a party at his home in 1991 and showing off a few shots.

If that was in Mosconi's home those cues on the wall had to be some real keepers. I wonder what happened to them? I also noticed a Gus Szamboti poster on the wall.

Oops. I didn't realize I had already uploaded it on youtube. I knew I had uploaded it previously, but I thought it was on vimeo or somewhere else. Sorry for the double upload.

I obtained it from Rolando Aravena years ago. He was working at Amsterdam Billiards at the time and had the best collection of 14.1 that I had ever heard of. He was a referee that you see in a lot of old videos. See if you can recognize him from this picture. I believe he is working somewhere in Florida now and has a straight pool league in his room.

I gave a copy of this to George Fels and he wrote about it in his column since it was a rare look at Mosconi.

Charlie Ursitti told me that there is no extant video footage of Mosconi just running balls like he did in his prime. Does anyone have any that has surfaced? He did not play well in the Caras match we've all seen. He never got "off to the races."

Charles Ursitti wanted me to meet with Bill Mosconi to discuss how best to sell part of the collection. So I pulled over and got a hotel in PA, Charlie said Bill would buy me breakfast. So we met at 5:30 a.m. or 6:00, he must be a true morning person. We had breakfast, told stories, and then Bill said let's go out and look at the cues. That was a surprise. An even bigger surprise was that the trunk was packed full with every cue and every case Willie had owned. Everything was a keeper.
