Wireless Routers, good or bad for pool?

The wireless router at the pool room REALLY messed up my stroke last night. The should shut that DOWN when money is involved!:grin:

All this is well and good but a real hustler wouldn’t broadcast his SSID. No one would know he was there until he busted the joint.

I don't know, but some pool halls need a Roto-Rooter. Just FWIW.

they are OK if you dont mind the wood chips flying around, higher rpm routers are better.

I think they are great! How else am I going to play internet poker between tournaments??

Wireless routers are great for pool.

My problem is with all the bits and bytes flying around while I'm shooting.

Very distracting.

the zero's don't bother me too much because they are smooth... but the ones are sharp and kinda hurt

Cuetec makes the best routers. Allison Fisher has a cuetec router and I used a cuetec router to beat my dad last night 5-4

i have to say they are bad for pool. i still use a commodore 64 and the wireless routers boggs down the feed during TAR matches.

Me, still gotta go with the vic-20 and 300bs tip. Its a little slow on the stroke but steady...

did you know if you mount the router upside down it hits better? Also if you jerk the antenna downward it helps with signal draw.
