No wonder the Chinese are building great pool players:

"A peaceful mind generates power"

Normally I would put this in the off topic forum or just throw it away but there is a great pool related truth in those few words. Nothing good is likely to happen from shooting without a peaceful mind.

That quote is very applicable towards pool, nice find. It is a very good way of describing the stoke we strive to achieve, maximum force from minimum motions. And also brings to mind the power of good play you can have from clearing your mind of distractions.

Lately i have been bringing a book to read while waiting for my matches,seems to be helping me and keeping me cool and calm,my mind is relaxed also,dont know if its the best for the eyes but i have been winning and feel very relaxed.
