Just installed a Wizard soft. Looks a lot like a Moori III but cuts and shapes differently. It was a pleasure to install and the customer loves it. I hit a few with it and it felt pretty good to me. I'm interested in other user's opinions.

I love them but cannot ever font them in a soft all I can find are Med. Please let me know where to find them or pm me a price if you would like to sell a couple

You know Wizzards are outstanding they never glazed over on me I used MED and HARDS. If was not learning to make milk duds I would be using Wizzards right now. I just went thru my last few moori's but I feel that are not as good as Wizzards.

tips

Have used the mediums on several cues over the last 3 years. I like them a lot. Nice consistent hit quality.

I've sold 1000's of the wizard tips without ever getting one complaint. I stopped selling just as the softs were being released so I have no experience with those. The medium is a hair softer than a moori medium and the hard wizard is slightly harder than the medium moori. I did have a cuemaker tell me he had a box that delaminated on him, but that's the only negative I've heard.

Probably my favorite of all tips--I use the med tho did not know the soft existed have very few mis-cues does seem to wear faster than a moori med but you will not break the bank re-tipping.

I think I bought them from you last n loose and like I said no issues they were so far the best tips I had I even think joss is installing them now

Thanks for the feedback. I'm interested in what my customer has to say after a few days. He's pretty picky about tips and I like to use him as my "beta" tester.

How do they hold up as far as shape? Do they mushroom alot?

I've heard they hold their shape better than the Moori. They certainly cut differently on the lathe. The edges feel harder. I'll know more in a week or so.

I have one on each of my Olney cues and love them. They hold shape very well and hold chalk very well too.

You could ask measureman but until he gets voted back onto the island via my multiple choice poll, he can't comment.
So far it looks good for him, but that Lucasi may have to go.

We just put a Wizard medium on his McFadden cue.
He told me that he took a layer off and it plays better.
If I would of charged him for it in the first place I would of felt bad, and refunded about a dollar for the lost layer.

Can some one please post up close up pics of a moori, wizard and kamui brown all in stalled. I bought my custom used recently and love the way the tip plays but im not sure witch of the three it is the layers seem really thin so im guessing its a wizard... I would just like to make sure.

-Thanks
