So i got up today and it was raining here in Arizona,it doesnt often but it was.I am thinking i am going to meet another fellow AZer Drew who just moved out here at the poolhall for this tournament they have on Sundays but when i get there he isnt there,so Drew you missed out! :p Its not a big tourney,32 players,double elimination races to 4,cheap entry,just a good fun day out.Its my first tournament i am playing in since moving here from NY.I go through the field undefeated,a few matches go hill-hill,even the final match with a nice older gentlemen named Dan i believe who shot with a gorgeous Its George cue with alot of ivory in it.I have to say i am proud of my first showing and i can say i played decent,not as well as i would have liked,made mistakes but still played solid.Well i just figured i would let all of my buddies on here know before i hit the hay,boy i am tired after 10 hours of pool but i will sleep good. :)
 
sorry man. the weather looked so miserable i decided to just stay home. what did they rate you?

Where were you playing? Well done by the way, it's not easy to win any tournament even if you are better than the other people. Things happen, well the rating system here seems to have some flaws so your rating will stay the same when you should be going up. You have to win som,ething big I have heard before you get bumped up. Anyway let me know,

Now Lenny, as I said before congrats but come clean with who you were playing. That ring game at the old ladies assisted living place does not count as a real win you know :)

I almost went there yesterday too to play in that. I decided not to because you have people like you who should be a 10 only going to 4. :)

What is the max rating for that tournament? If you say its an 8 and under....That is gonna suck...

It is an 8 and under tourney. Good job Lenny! The best I have done there is 5/6.

good for you, i never have, seriously, i have only played in 8 or 10 in my life I took 3rd in a B tournment and was barred from it that night when I got knocked out. i cant win an open tournment, it mustt feel gresat, i'm happy for you,

There was a guy we called "shorts" that won it a bunch. We called him that because he wore Daisy Duke like shorts lol. Have not seen him there for a couple months now.
