Hi everyone,

If you remember a couple of weeks ago I took second in the 9-ball tourney at Metro.
I went back for the first time since taking second and won the 8 and under 8-ball tourney. I didn't lose all night and only made a couple of mistakes which luckily didn't cost me any of my matches. I didn't break and run any matches but I did run about 6 after their break including the finals where he broke, made a ball on the break and then missed his next shot. I ran out. I then broke and came up dry and he ran out. He then broke and came up dry and I ran out. It was one of those nights when everything seems to be so easy. It was also the first tourney I have played with my new 314-2 shaft instead of the Z-2 shaft. I finally got over the hump of finishing 3rd so many times and then 2nd. I have a feeling this is a first of many in the future.

Awesome

Congrats!!! I love it when my hours of practice pay off, I'm sure you're feeling the same way right now.

I think you are right - it is just difficult for me to get out during the week cause of work.
