I WAS APPROCHED WITH THE IDEA OF MAKING BALL CASES.AS I TOLD THIS FELLOW I HAVE ONE IN PROCESS AND PLAN TO POST IT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS.IT SURE WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO MAY THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA.
INCASE YOU DON'T KNOW I AM THE SAME PERSON THAT BUILDS THE CUSTOM WOOD CUE CASES. THANKS FOR LOOKING - ROGERhttp://RHTCUSTOMWOOD.COM

It's a great idea, especially if you can pattern them after
the high quality ball cases made by O'Neil (no longer made).

That size case is perfect for safely storing and transporting balls.

I happen to have an O'Neil Case for storing and transporting
my Centennials and have turned down dozens of offer to buy it.

I can post pictures and dimensions, if you are interested.

Yeah, no kidding. I've been looking for an O'Neil ball case for a while... I had a chance to buy one and regretted passing it up.

Roger, I hadn't thought about this, but I would be intersted in a nice case for my carom balls, too.

pics and prices

yes that is true and when i have something solid, that will be done.I dont think it's a good idea to show something that isnt finished -that's not good practice in my book. Thanks for your input though. Roger

Interior Pictures of Ball Case ...

If you can craft Wooden Ball Cases which are of this quality,
you should sell plenty of them (subject to pricing).

Your intentions are very good and I, as well as many others here on AZB, certainly hope you do well with this project.

will it have spaces for extra cue-ball, like measle and regular ?

and could you figure out how to incorperate a spot for a rack, since i carry my own delta to the pool hall ?

That's a good idea. One spot for red circle, one for blue circle, one for measles ball, and last spot for an instructional cue ball or a beat-up spare cue ball that you can use phenolics/G10 tips on it?

O'Neil also had another ball case that was 8 balls across by two balls wide. It was a slimmer depth case, but longer in length.

I would by one if they came with a lock and key. I need that because of my kid's friends and nieces and nephews that come over. You know how kids are with balls on a pool table. That way saves me the hassle to put them in the upstairs closet.

a little info.

Like i've been telling everyone. I am working on a couple differet types. One for a set of 16 balls and one for 18 balls.Ive had many requests to see something and i should have something in under 2 weeks. These will be made using walnut but if anyone has somthing special in mind they would simply need to contact me after seeing the first ones and we could go from there. rhtandcompany@gmail.com
Thanks for now --Roger
