Wording on Covid waivers (if any) to use tables at your local rec center or poolroom?

Hi Joe,

Yep, sure the guys enjoyed playing with you all, I didn't participate since my game is one pocket. We have had a mixed reaction to the situation here, about half the regular players have not come back yet. Sure hope things get back to "normal" soon.

Hey Bob, thanks for the reply. We opened out room May 20th. We were doing about 205 hrs of play per table per month on 4 tables before COVID hit. Now we are doing about 125 hours per table per month. Down about 40%. We started having our tournaments again but we have to keep it singles because we only allow 2 players per table and only 8 in the pool room at a time. I'm originally from Villa Park Illinois, where are you from in Illinois? Stay safe.

Hi Joe

When I Iived around Chicago my last location was Bolingbrook. Then moved to a small town, Lena, close to Freeport. Wintered in Green Valley for about 10 years, bought a house and made the move about 3 years ago.
I'm originally from the SW side of Chicago near Midway airport.

Hope it isn't to long before the clubs can match up again.

Here you go. Neither is a waiver that you would sign but then again I haven't seen any of them for any type of business so far.

I have been told that a large operator is opening their league as a " sporting event "
I don't know much more than that as I trust the person who told me, but, again,
rumor ?? Just passing along what I heard.

any waiver can always be challenged later
for the best wording
i would hire an attorney who does malpractice or injury law to draft one for you
it should not cost more than one hour of time
the few hundred it will cost you would be worth it .......jmho

The above-listed quote *is* the correct answer. The attorney should be licensed to practice law in the forum (applicable) state.

That being said, many attorneys do not do small projects such as the one at issue.

It like common sense to talk to someone who is an expert with a law degree, not some people who thinks, and is part of a forum community.
