The draw for the last 24 hasn't been done yet, but, in no particular order, these are the last 24:

Archer was so excited he made it through. He was a like a little kid showing off his new toy. I glad to see he made it.
Danny Barouty had a tough job in last match. He had to beat Ortman to make it through. Nice going Dan.
 
The final brackets are BULLSHIT!!!!!

All 4 past champions, plus eckert, Appleton and fulcher in the upper bracket. the lower bracket has only Mika and Hatch who can really play this game. I think something rotten is going on here.

Half of the players in the group phase advanced. I think that's enough. Also, a bye for first is a serious reward for finishing first in your group so there is strong incentive not to dump to your brother in law if you are already sure to go through before the final match of the group phase.

As I mentioned in another thread, it looks random enough. I think Eberle and Davis have a right to complain though, since they are matched up in the first round and they already played in the group phase.

Nothing is rotten here. Seeding is based entirely on group finish. Those who finished first in their group got a bye. Those who finished second in their group drew somebody who finished third in their group.

A talent-balanced bracket would be pure coincidence given the methodology.

the only thing I'd change is to enforce a rule that players from the same group cannot meet each other until the last 8 or so. I also don't understand why seeds 3 and 4 are not in the centre of the draw. But, apart from that I like the system.

I think the seeding was done this way because they redraw at 16 for the single elimination bracket.
