I love playing scotch too. Creates a lot of intensity. Something different. Makes it more spectator friendly.

This morning I heard an announcer say it's race to 10 and it sounded queer. All the British slang is a trip anyway.

Yes, it's never been held here, but it's also only been held in England in 2013 and 2014.
Also, out of the 9 WCOP events, only 3 of them have had two teams from England.
I'm not going to search the forums, but I bet you won't find any posts whining about how the Philippines hosted the event 4 years in a row, and had two teams each of those years.
So what are you trying to say that out of the 7 total times it's been held in either the Philippines or England
they've had 7 more chances to win than the other countries ?

in both the Phillipnes and in the UK, the crowd gets so into it that the refs have to calm them down and matches pause for this
when the US can get that kind of interest then I'll welcome events there as I can actually travel to see em, until then, too bad so sad
plus im pretty sure matchroom feels the same way and has little interest, additionally, no betting sponsors allowed in the usa

All I can say is make sure your not clicking on the match from this morning
that says watch live (if it's still there) because that will give you a blank screen.
Click on the second one down. Right now they're both blank, guess we have to give it another

IMO, England is very fortunate to have made it. They squeaked through an earlier match because of an illegal break, then barely hold off a hard charging USA team with that 'has been'

IMHO, Netherlands vs England A is a dream final. I prefer a team that has never won before to win. Been near yet far for both of them as they both were losing finalists previously.
This match will be too tight to call, all 4 of them probably know each others game very well having play in euro tour and MC
I go for Netherlands to win it - this will top a big year for Niels, a favorite of many:grin:

Don't know why they are reducing the races for WPA events, W9B used to be race to 17 now recently cut to race to 13, MC used to be race to 7 now race to 6
