World Cup of Pool 2014(Portsmouth, UK) 23-28Sep (9ball Scotch Doubles) Winner $60K

Dry break for Darren. Shane to the table for a long and dirty shot on the 1. Earl and Shane discussing the shot. Extension called. They're not sure how to go about it.

Earl said leave the cue on that side of the table and I'm going to cut the 2 in the corner.

Shane makes it, but leaves Earl a sliver of the 2-ball. It's difficult. He leave Karl a close duck shot. It's hard to tell if the ball is hidden, but it looks like a straight-in duck in the corner pocket. Makes it and then snookers Darren on the 3, behind the 9. Darren reaches for jump cue. Makes it with back spin. Karl pats Darren on the back.

England has to make a mistake. They are pocketing everything right. Not giving Usa any room to breathe. Earl and Shane have to take next rack. Let's go!!!!

From the commentary I've been hearing over the last couple of days, I think the announcers are definitely pro Europe. They need to be less biased.

It sure does seem that way. :(

Even the cameras show Earl and Shane looking confused and bewildered. When the camera shows England, they're happy and smiling.

Shane looks uncharacteristically uncomfortable...wonder if Earl has gotten into his head? He's usually pretty unflappable.

England breaks, makes 1 in the side. What else is new! LOL

Easy table to run out too.

Karl asks to have the cueball cleaned. Sheesh!

Karl leaves Darren a toughie on the 9, but it's doable. Darren makes it. 5 to 2.

I am going to turn the volume off, I guess.

England 6, USA 2.

Earl speaks to a railbird, and they both smile, but the commentators have to say something smart about it.
