Poland off to a strong start leading New Zealand 3-0. They had one big roll with a fluke from a jump shot in the first, but played very solid since then.

New Zealand win the last game of the session to get off the donut train. 1-5. Let's see if they can mount a comeback. Edwards, the taller of the two has a good break from what I've seen.

New Zealand staggers, jumps, kicks and pots their way to 3-6 down to Poland.

New Zealand unluckily finished touching the rail on the 8 ball, also on the rail, to leave a long 9 that they miss. Poland wins 7-3.

Estonia goes brain dead on a straight 9 two foot from the pocket, 2 foot behind it to let Pin Yi Ko in for 1-1.

Why did ko get to shoot twice in a row? He tried the bank kick and missed and Estonia ran out and then he came up and shot again

Erky has done it again! After missing an easy straight in on the 9, he takes an 8 ball, that was clearly on into the middle pocket, into the long corner, but clips the 9... still making the 8-ball. FOUL. Ouch! Taiwan 5-2.

That's too bad. They looked great in the first rack but that was an absolutely dogged 9 ball in rack 2. Not surprised to hear it's been downhill from there.

Estonia getting more chances than a cat with a rabbit foot and a 4 leaf clover! They move to 4-5. SVB must be kicking himself watching the Taiwanese giving up so many chances. ;-)

In the next frame Estonia blows an easy out, Taiwan 6-4... and Taiwan breaks dry again. wow
