World Cup of Pool Updates

HILL HILL 6-6 after the most comedic frame yet, where Korea knocked back an out with BIH to try to win on 3 fouls. And the young hairdo Malaysian smashes 2 rails with 0.1 seconds remaining and gets it and snookers back. LOL

Hill-hill with Malaysia to break. wish they win. Korea made an ugly move with that 3 fouls attempt.

Korea steals a victory. They're going to have to level the table after Jeong shook so hard on the penultimate 8-ball that the table moved. Don't buy the DVD of this match, unless you want a laugh or want to feel good about your own game. :D

China v Romania up next. I'm expecting some fine play by China!

Lol I feel like a shortstop after watching them play. That 2 rail kick by the youngster with almost no time left on the clock was exciting though!

Sliding rails have caught China out a couple of times... typical of TV v backstage tables. Li He Wen (pron. Lee Her Wern) makes a great escape to avoid selling out an easy combo on the 9.... but Romania, led by some guy who could get a gig in Hollywood as a bad guy, makes a nice out to go 3-0.

I'd like to see some of you shooting pool on a TV table.

I would not put that out there like that, quite a few here have played on feature streaming tables in tournaments.

And bad play is bad play, as players picked to play in the World Cup anyone in the event should be able to play in public.

Streaming is one thing, Sky Sports or ESPN is another.

Nope, I don't think they should. Especially the guys from Malaysia, I don't think they ever had the chance to play a TV match. I still remember Alex Kazakis (who is a very strong player) debute in this tournament a couple of years back, messing everything there is to mess. Or Dechaine's at the Mosconi Cup. It's more tough out there that you'd normally think. Some players are suffering the experience more than others.

I'll tell you something we have couple more good players, like Ovidiu and Ciprian.

Exactly! Ladani is strong as hell consistently placing high at Best of the East tournaments against strong opposition. His overall game is really solid, no glaring weakness :) Plus he is really friendly guy ;)
