World Cup of Pool

The ghost of Corey's soft break comes back to bite the U.S team in the A$$. What a B/S rule. Johnnyt

PS: Need a radar gun.

USA - Japan started of pretty bad with errors on both side. Then things got better. Entertaining match with a great shot by Johnny at 6-5. Japan played a very tough snooker and JA kicked it to snooker over 2 rails... and the 9 caromed in! 6-6 break gave no shot and the safe wasnt safe enough. Japan ran out nice with a bit of luck.

Go team Holland!!

Can somebody record the opening when Raj and Amar walk out for India? I want to see that.

I use Chrome + Adblockplus. Dont have to download anything. Earlier in the thread someone mentioned having to download flash, but the pop up might be an ad you'll have to close (or block).

break shot

Yeah I agree a radar gun should be used...if the player is breaking at least 17-18 mph (which I'm sure all these guys are) then illegal breaks should not be called.

All it takes is for a ball or two to bounce the wrong way off the nipple and a good break turns into a gift for the opponent.

Well, I had to shut down my computer because when I clicked that link, it added SpeedAnalysis, LizardLink, PC Performer, and FFDShow VI. It was doing a scan on my computer as I was shutting it down.

I would advise anybody to *not* click that link unless they are well aware of the items that are being loaded on their computer. I don't know what those programs are, so I feel better not having them on my computer.

Thanks for the link, but I can't load all that stuff up just to watch pool, I guess. Too bad for me. :(

I use Chrome too.

That sounds bad, indeed never download from such sites. The adblock seems to do the job for me, but I dont know if that works for you.

India is currently trying to come back from 4-0, theyre shooting for 4-2 now

Thanks for the update. I'll have to learn what's happening through you. :)

Nobody should download anything from those sites. They will slow down a computer a lot. The add-ons and downloads are no good for anybody.

Yes, this link asks to download "multiple files." No, thanks. LOL

I have five computers, but the one I am on now is my fave, so I just don't want to screw it up. Those downloads will definitely slow down a computer big time. Been there, done that. :p

Sorry, i didn't get anything with ADBlock :(

I believe it is an 'ad' that is telling you to download in order to watch the stream, just wait 30 seconds till you can close the ad (click the x in the corner of the videoscreen)

I did, but a big white ad covering the video stayed there the entire time. I waited, but nothing happened. So I decide to download it just so I could see India. BIG MISTAKE!

I immediately shutdown my computer when I saw that PC Performing scanning my computer. I had about new10 icons on my desktop too. I was afraid I'd have to do a system restore, but when I turned my computer back on, I just uninstalled everything with today's date. Back to normal. :)

Before I uninstalled, my computer was running super slow, and I have 12GB RAM on this computer. I knew it was those downloads and add-ons.
