He is in it because Barry H. Is a very successful promoter and knows fans need a bad guy. If we are lucky he will do the same magic for pool that he did for snooker.

People used to demean and criticize Allex Higgins when he was alive, but when he passed away, you should have seen the tribute to him. He was loved by everyone. They loved to hate him when he was alive, but when he passed, they all came out and gave him a lot of love for this snooker champion.

Earl is a living legend and a champion. Those who don't like him are entitled to their opinion, but there are many, many folks who do enjoy and love Earl. When you meet him in person, like some of us have, and hang out with him, he's fun to be with. Only in pool can mainstream folks hang out with the champions!

Earl got outplayed from the start.

Had something to say to Kaci when he shook his hand at the end that didn't seem to be that positive.

Kaci cites Earl as being of his inspirations for playing pool. In return Earl offers excuses as to why he lost (temperature/being "sharked'), and even goes on to say that Kaci isn't a great player.

If that's your idea of a champion...you can have him.

If Earl passes away before I do, I’ll be full of admiration for him as a champion, a legend and a man. That won’t be the time to dwell on the negative. The fact that this will be the case doesn’t prevent me from calling out his behaviour when he lost to Kaci yesterday. It was one day ago. It was embarrassing. Yes he is a character and it was also amusing - but it’s still embarrassing as far as the pool world is concerned.

Who's the bad guy in snooker?

Ever watch Ronnie O's. interviews? Pretty outspoken, volatile guy. He's definitely not robo-player like most of the snooker guys are. He says what he thinks and i think you need at least one like him. He doesn't talk trash like ES but he is kind of a lightning rod.
