The year he lost to Alcano in the semis of the WPC or 1/4s, he had 2 if not three breaks where he made multiple balls, squatted whitey perfect, yet one of the few balls remaining on the table came around and hit the CB Hard right into the upper left pocket. If it were not for that match and the rolls.... He was playing better than anyone.

I like Dynamite because he gets on AZ Billiards and mixes it up with us. His screen name may be Dynamite but he can grind out a game with the best of em as well. Darren Appleton has tremendous sticktoitiveness.

At the moment he's playing Neils Feijen. I've played Neils when he was a "ROAD AGENT", although I like both players but I have to pull for Darren because like I said, he's one of us.

Speaking of Neils. He used to have that East Germany athlete look but not any longer. Did anyone notice how far to the side of his head he aligns his cue. Watch him break. He reminds me of Shannon Daulton except I think Shannon is left handed I believe.

I'm sorry Phoebe but I'm not in Manila since the 28th. Enjoying the sand, sun and surf with my family while attending to other business (foodstuff) concerns.
 
I thought this was single elimination, but I see the match schedule for Pulpul and Feijen. Can some one explain?

3rd place play-off, for drug testing reasons apparently! :thumbup:

In case EPO is found in Wu's or Appleton's bloodstream, the 3rd placer will be the champ.................. ;)
