Worth it?

The best part is the seller is selling something for 45k and still charging the buyer 15 bucks for shipping. LOL

Rambow $$$$$$

OK this is a 1961 Rambow cue and the seller is selling it for another guy, bid at 45,990, something doesn't sound right.

Pretty sure there is a typo or two.

Look at bid history.

Went from 4,750 to 45,000 or so.

I think bid was meant to be 4,870 and the 5 (to make 45k) somehow got in there.

No way it sold for $45,000 - in fact I think $4,500 is a little high.

??????

The same two bidders were going back and forth early on and right up to the end, I don't think it was a typo, appears the bids were placed out of sight to end the bidding over the top!

Makes one think about the bidders?

Yeah, it looks like someone put a very high bid in to make sure he got it and then someone made a typo that made the very high bid go...lol.

Nobody is going to be happy with the ending on this one...lol.

The issue is that you can put in an extremely high bid and it will only bid in increments over $100 from the last bid.

Therefore, if I really wanted something, I may bid $50,000 knowing that it will never get there but I will get the item in the end because I should always be high bidder because of my max bid.

In this case, if someone made a typo, it would make the high bid the highest bid whether I really wanted to go that high or not.

I haven't been on e-bay for a while so I may be mistaken; however, that is the way it used to work.

I think chumly from pawn stars bought it....the old man used to make splices in the navy with herman.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing... Somebody typo'd or had bidder's rage.

This might get re-listed again.
