From another thread:
I said this to Billy Cardone
Its possible, me and you have. And I consider you a good friend who I have the highest respect for. But your a hardcore guy Billy and I know you can fade a $5,000 loss and go to dinner with who beat you, i'm that way as well. But some people IMO cant do that, they have to hate who they are gambling with to win, so they keep up a guard with them.
I have close friends who cant take a loss like you Billy therefore I dont gamble big with them as it would harm my friendship and sometimes with some people my friendship is worth more than $5,000. But I cant play for free, I just start banging balls, $10/game fixes that-and isnt enough to strain a friendship.
Then I have people I know, I like well enough to gamble with, but all we have is a gambling relationship, were kinda sorta friends. No arguments or hatred but not really friends just mutual action for each other. Two ships passing in the night...
So there are 3 different types of relationships I have with people, obviously I perfer our relationship the best of the 3, Harry Platis and I are like that. We play $1000/game of one hole and he one of my best friends and has helped me with legal work and is like a father figure to me in some cases, where he has litterly had a sit down with me and set me straight, But Billy men you and Harry are few and far between, so with that in mind-How are we gonna match up????
