Leave this pool alone and stay in school!!! I'm telling you for your own good, you'll end up with a mis-spent youth, and there is nothing worse than a 45 year old degenerate, with no money,no family, and basically no life.Just a lot of question marks"if I would have stayed in school,I could have done this or that"

Btw, I'm not the guy I'm describing.I'm only 41 :)

So what you're 14 and can draw your rock,at 14 I could dunk!

Yeah, I get home schooled and I've done some of my major exams early. Right now I only need study for 2-3 hours a day. The way you say "so what you're fourteen and can draw the ball" makes it sound like I'm saying I'm awesome. I'm not. I made a nice runout and I was happy about it. I don't make runouts every time I play, I'm not as good as any of you are thinking I am. I only play 4 hours a week at the club and a little at home (we just got a crappy non slate table cheap). It's not like I'm playing 24/7 and throwing my life away.

I am bizarro.Leader of the free world and holder of 25 alter egos .hahahahahahahaha .

I could'nt do that kama/alter ego character thing again if I wanted to .It's just me Shawn .I only have one screen name and this is it.

I live with my parents and we don't really gamble in pool here in the uk... Any one got any things I can do to prove everything I said was true? Cos honestly, I'm not lying.

So where are you from in britain and what made you interested in pool?

One other thing,is it"potting balls" over there?

Just an idea

I have an idea, find someone here at AZB from England and both of you show up at a tournament or a find a mutually agreed upon pool hall and go shoot him some pool. Then he can post about it and you will be believed after that. Just make sure it is one of the posters who has been here for a long time to give them more credibility. Just an idea.

I'm from Leeds, I play snooker more than pool, I just like any cue sports. Not sure I'd like carom billiards though. To be honest I like pool quite a lot more than snooker (the big pockets give me bags of confidence and alow me to focus nearly completly on the position), but I feel that I should play snooker and like snooker more because although people play pool around here a bit, pool players aren't really taken as seriously as snooker players are, plus there's also the money. I feel I could play for a living a lot easier in snooker and would have a hard time surviving out their soley playing pool. I'll just keep practicing them both though I guess...

Sounds like a good idea. I won't play for money though.

You won't need to. At your rate of improvement, you can make a comment to the camera when you're 16 at the WPC in 2008. 3 months of playing in total and you made that runout? I'll be seeing you on TV in the next year.

My daughter beat a guy out of $50.00 playing bar table eight ball when she was only 8 years old. She had only been beating balls around our basement for a short period of time on a pro eight footer. No official instruction.

Some people just have that natural ability. She is 23 now with one National Championship and second in another. Seriously playing for 7 years.

Edit: Actually, in a rush to out of work, subtracted wrong. She was 21 when she won. Playing 3 years, 5 years total now.

question

If you been playing for 5 weeks how could you have played league for three seasons??????

Wow! Could barely hit the "on" ball.... 5 hours of table time later, he has run 7 balls in rotation, and has come close to breaking and running out "so many times"... again, all within 5 hours of lifetime table time.

An amazing talent like this needs a nickname. How about, "The Woim"? :D

..he was off by 23 minutes!!! He MUST be lying!

MM...typing this around 4 o'clock:p

Actually it is 37 minutes. And for some one who is trying to make others believe his story, it seems to me he would try and be more accurate. IMO

Not life time table time, I'd played before at friends house, but nothing more than like half an hour non-seriously. I may have exaggurated slightly, but my cueing was so bad that even if I had a clear shot you couldn't guarante I'd hit it. I'd hit it 80% of the time maybe but that's not good. The league coaches everyone on their first time and coached me over a few sessions for about a month. then I decided to go twice a week. (That's snooker btw) Then a month later, I decided to go another day, this time pool. I recently just had quite a lot more coaching that made me play great and get that run out. I was leaving out key details before, to make myself sound better, but I didn't lie! I just didn't tell the whole truth... ;) But that is the truth, and I really am a 14 year old kid, and I hope people will stop doubting that...

Well, If you are telling the truth...welcome aboard!
There is so much more pool on TV in England than there is here in the US... not to mention snooker. Do you watch it on Eurosport or the BBC?
Where do you play snooker league?
ruk
