How is that going to work? Isn't there only 5 or 6 nine footers there at Boagies? Not dogging the place - I like Boagies - but this tournament brings 128 players normally... Not to mention the womens side...

Someone explain this to me please......

What that means is that the tournament might run a little late.

well, they brought in extra tables for the RTC. They may be planning to do the same for other tourneys as well.

Well, I should hope so if they are planning on hosting the event. No doubt it will be a great success. These tournaments usually are. This one is one of my favorites. I liked that it was only 3 hours from me. Dang it! :)

Either way, I'm sure I'll attend. As I would suggest to everyone else out there. :)

They had nine 9fts...either way, if they had it there it would take an obscene amount of time...

They move stuff, shake it, take it, flip it, and bake the biscuits there. There might just be 30 9 footers in there if thats what it took. That owner is strong, real strong.

Before the rumors get started, I think there is some confusion between event names. The Texas Open is not the event that was mentioned. Bogies has requested to host a WPBA sanctioned Texas State Women's Championship, which would be run by the OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour. This is not definitive as occuring, the board members are looking into the feasibility of an event like this for this year at that location. There is nothing set in stone for a state championship yet.

Lol Tim....but Erin wasn't involved in the infamous wing-ball argument. It was Michell Monk and Jennifer Barretta in the booth in San Diego last year.

Unless there was a whole different wing-ball discussion that happened that I'm not aware of!

My bad, a few folks had thought it was her in the booth with Jen. After listening to Erin in the booth in ATL & at the RTC, I would totally believe this chic not knowing what the wing ball is.

Yep, the Texas State Open is still a go at Skinny Bob's in Round Rock Texas for Labor Day weekend. The TD met with Skinny Bob's management just last week.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back but I want to thank everyone for the information.
I was just curious about Yu Ram's entry in this event.
It sort of sucks that the regional girls had to compete against one of the top pro players but, on the other hand, if they get to the big show that is who they will have to play.
