Like I said earlier; I feel bad for whoever lost. Either one could have gone back to rare misses throughout the match and blamed them for losing the set. Congrats to both players!

I'm a little disappointed because I always wanted to be the first English world champion.

Congrats to Daryl. Heartbreaking for Gomez. He had it, and then it slipped. Gomez dealt with the crowd as well as any human could have under the situations he was in. When he was looking to win, the crowd couldn't contain themselves. Gomez got distracted alot, IMO.
 
Did you guys saw Daryl almost made a foul as he made the 9 and left his cue
stick atop the table while the CB is still in motion and almost hit his stick?
 
Time for bed... congratulations to Daryl Peach - that has got to be the most intense, mentally grueling WPC Final match I have ever seen.

Daryl might need therapy after that one!

I believe Mr. Peach was the player who called a foul on himself earlier this year, and it cost him the tournament. Great win for a true gentleman!

Yes at that moment I really thought the cueball was gonna hit it and she would call foul...wow that would have been tough to swallow for Daryl
 
I know I said this last night but I'm gonna say it again. This wouldn't have been half as much fun without all you fellow AZBer's.

It's been a great week (especially if you're English!) & I thank you all. I couldn't be in better company.
