WPC 2007-live internet coverage dates & times

Both players had some shining moments. However, each of them did fumble more than once. The win was anybody's several times. Oliver happened to take advantage of a Corey Deuel mishap at the end there, a miss in the side pocket.

On the Accu-Stat ratings, if I had to guess, I've give 'em each a high .800s score, which ain't too shabby. :)

The nerves are obviously running on tilt for everyone. I've never seen so many pros shaking at the table.

Of the 11 Americans (Johnny Archer, Charles Bryant, Mike Davis, Corey Deuel, Jeremy Jones, Rodney Morris, Tony Robles, Robb Saez, Earl Strickland, Shane van Boening and Charlie Williams), Tony Robles is the only one out of the tourney so far. Several haven't played yet though.

I'm pretty sure that both Double J and Robb Saez are already in the showers...

A bit of irony that Jeremy Jones went on his rant about the sexuality of Mika Immonen, then he's one of the first ones "in the showers" with Saez and Robles? :D :p :D

Can you say it again without the sexual overtones please?

Earl will be playing. Make sure to have lots of popcorn and San Miguel so you don't have to miss the "show.":D

I have never posted this one I couldn't resist...if you have to ask that question then you are not to familiar with pool I would assume...this "Martel" guy has placed in the final 4 of this very tournament... and so you know exactly who he is his name is Alain Martel aka "The Dancing Bear" from Quebec, Can. Also he has just made it into the final 64 of the World's...again!!!!!! for the person who thought he was an "amateur"

So you have to win a major to be known outside of your own country? I would just say if you want to talk pool and players then you ( not you personally) should do your homework before speaking... I recommend knowing before speaking...

canuckpool, the guy is right. just because he didn't win any major, I don't know him, he is unknown for most of the people around me too. who is martel?

but I do know efren, corey, earl, mika, ralf, shane, busta, pagulayan,wu,alcano --- alot others, i dont want to write a list.

see?

Speaking of the "Dancing Bear", it's hard to forget him if you've seen him play
live or on TV. One thing that stands out from Alain is his "spearing" break, a
follow through action after he hits the CB at warp speed. It is also hard to
forget his twisting/shaking/trembling body motion after a break...

BTW thanks for the SOPCast. I just got on to ESPN last night and the first I saw was this Vaic from RSA against Busta. Vaic is quite entertaining to watch, his unique bridge (middle finger in the air as the commentator said) is shaking..and his stance is also kinda shaky..he feathers and turns his cue..but he's very sharp too..at least I'm amazed..

why are most Canadians so rude?
especially the ones who play poker or pool

It is not rude to inform the uninformed...what a thing to say we're known as some of the nicest and happiest people in the world! Big judgement that wasn't called for....
