WPC 2007-live internet coverage dates & times

Live coverage is going pretty late tonight- the last session starts live at 10pm my time, which is 10am on the east coast.

Does anybody know if they might have changed the channels for the coverage? At the moment, the ESPN channel that I've been watching is not online. Anybody know of other options?
dave

ESPN cut the coverage for Sportscenter, and the end of the Strickland match wasn't switched to another channel- I would imagine we get the same ESPN/Star Sports feed.

Yeah, I keep getting "The Channel is Off line" message. Does this mean we're out of luck, or is it just because there are no matches right now? And, are there other ways to watch?
Thanks,
dave

According to my TV guide, the next live session starts at 8pm my time (in 90 minutes) and lasts an hour, then cuts off for an hour and resumes at 10pm my time (3 1/2 hours from now) and lasts 90 minutes.

I don't know for sure, but I would imagine the channel will come back online at those times.

If you guys are using Sopcast, they switched from channel 10912 (I think) to
6003. The coverage tonight was the best so far, no blank screens, no hanging,
there was no audio loss and no pixelated screens too.

The Evening Session starts in 2 and a half hours, 3 1/2 hours of real time pool...

My local ESPN affiliate is carrying three live sessions per day (six hours total)- that's more than enough for me.;)

Sorry to say this, but once great champion Earl is now laughing stock of the pool world...seems like more people come to watch his outbursts rather than play. I wish he would shut up and play up to his true speed, but no...he just isn't giving his all...so sad...:( :( :(
I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it to the last 64.
And then there's big 10ball match with Shane after WPC. That will be hummiliating experience.

SOPCAST not LIVE anymore

Guys,

According to the TV schedule at the WPC official website, the next session TV coverage is going to start at 8 am today, US eastern time or 5 am Pacific/west coast time. However, the matches that we are going to see in less than an hour are not live anymore. It will be on a delayed basis because they have started the match already between Marlon vs Li.

If you go to the live scoring page at the WPC website, the games are starting already but we are not going to see it live anymore.

Here are the current scores:

Table
1 Li H W 2 M Manalo 2
2 J De Luna 0 Fu C W 0
3 L Andam 9 R Hundal 8
4 M Davis 0 T Arunnath 0
5 E Strickland 2 K Reike 4
6 Kuo P C 3 L Condo 3
7 M Billah 1 Lee C M 8
8 T Hohmann 4 E Montal 7

Earl is behind by 2 and Hohmann is on the verge to being eliminated by Montal 4-7.

The next game we are supposed to see at SOPCAST is the Manalo vs. Li match so if you do not want to know who won, do not look at the live scorecard now at WPC website. Just watch the match in less than 30 minutes.

Thanks for the updates.

Wow, Andam won first against Souquet, then Hundal. Not to mention he had to win one of those brutally tough qualifiers to get in the event. Not bad for a Filipino old-timer.

Does anyone know how old Andam is compared to Reyes and Parica? I've never seen him play.
