WPC 2007-live internet coverage dates & times

I am going to throw my laptop out of the window......
Actually I am going to go the home of the Sopcast creator and kick him in the nutts....
then I am going to the home of whoever recomended this junk and kick him in the nutts....

Joking

I cant get this thing to work ... it is sooooooooooooooooo choppy....it buffers to 30-35% and starts playing... junk..
never had this problem with any other streams...ever........

I don't know what to say my man. The stream is perfect here, but I'm not using a laptop. My computer was intentionally built to handle any video playing/ editing I could throw at it.

I just tried it on our laptop and it's fine. Did you do a disc clean and a defrag? If not try that and reboot.
sorry mrs.g

I just think that a friend of HOLTZ Just pulled up his legs somehow to distract Chamat while he's playing in the table & at the Hill.

So with Orcullo's win, this makes him the 13th player from the Philippines (out of 15) to make it to the next round. Only Lining and Luat failed to move forward. They will be 'killing' or knocking each other out in the next rounds though,.

***reasons for slow streaming***

1. too much junk in your system. <<< try to remove or turn off other unneeded cpu processes and drefrag your pc.
2. your pc is not refreshed. <<< shutdown your pc for 10 secs then turn it on. this should refresh your pc.
3. internet traffic <<< in your location, you can't do anything about it.
4. you're running on Pentium III laptop with only 256 memory. <<< buy a new pc or laptop.
5. old and integrated video card <<< you can't do upgrade so just buy a new unit with a very nice graphics controller.
6. your streaming setup is not configured <<< try adjusting the video streaming settings to maximize performance.
7. update your system <<< this can improve your laptop's performance.

Only SVB left for this day 4. Archer, Rodney Morris and Charlie Bryant all bombed out.

Out of the 12 USA players, only 4 are left (SVB, Deuel, Williams and Strickland).

There were 11 Americans

I may be wrong, so subject to check, but I do not think Shawn Putnam went to the WPC this year. I thought I read that he pulled out, and that his spot was given to a qualifier.

That is correct. Putnam pulled out so only 11 Americans competed.:)

Sorry. I just based it from the official wpc website.

http://www.worldpoolchampionship.com/players-by-nationality.asp?offset=80

http://www.worldpoolchampionship.com/players_detail.asp?player_id=248

However, be it 11 or 12, the Americans again did not do very well in this WPC. We would be lucky to have 1 or 2 stll standing after the round of 32. Only 36% (4 out of 11) got in compared to 87% (13 out of 15) from the Philippines. Frankly, out of the 4 remaining, I only see SVB having a real chance of winning this tournament.
