Roberto Gomez and Alex Lely??? Ok, im going to bed!!! nice betting with you Fast larry!

You don't even wanna know why they call Roberto Gomez "Superman"? :p

When I spoke to Alex Lely last year, he was thinking about quitting pool. He had a personal tragedy in his family with his daughter, I think. The IPT crashing didn't help matters either.

It is good to see him back in competition. He is a very nice person, a great player, and an asset to the sport.

LVC, ORCULLO, EARL are out. lot of upsets today ! the Dragon is on the ropes and clinging for dear life. looks like it's down to Corey and SVB for the Americans.

I don't think Lee Vann Corteza's loss to Jeff De Luna is an upset. Jeff made it
as far as the last 16 last year in his maiden appearance. Jeff's is on the up
and up and Lee Vann Corteza's game hasn't improved through the years. I
even saw him banging and hoping a lot in the Guiness 9-Ball Tour when faced
with a difficult kick shot...

Niels Feijen just showed Charlie Williams the door (10-7)
Lee Kun Fang sent Raj Hundal to the showers (10-6)
Ralf Souquet survived a scare from his Japanese opponent, Naoyuki Oi (10-8)
Francisco "Django" Bustamante is leading David Alcaide of Spain (6-1)

When Pat Holtz says "Jerry" to Jerry Forsyth, it sounds funny with his Scottish accent. Pat Holtz sure is a great commentator. I like him and Jerry the best. :)

Two Americans left standing, Corey Deuel and Shan Van Boening. YIKES! :o

Wow, Bustie's forehead is a little higher than I have seen in previous times. He's still handsome and is one of my favorites to win this tournament. He deserves it. If it can't be Shane or Corey, I'm pulling for Bustamante.

Bustie moves like a black panther on this table. WOW! He is in great form and is smoking. I think he will be in the finals. I can't see anybody beating Bustamante at the WPC this year. He's in tip-top shape.
