I went to the John and Gomez pulled one game from Daz!?! It's 12 -11 Daz and
Gomez called for time, he's probabaly going to the porta potty too! :D
 
I got knocked off AzBilliards for a while. Too many people on the server, I surmise.

Anyway, my Sopcast kept working. WHAT A GREAT BREAK FOR GOMEZ. He's back in this horse race.

He looks very unsure of himself at the table. The pressure must be brutal.

I wonder if that miss will haunt Peach ala Bill Buckner.
 
This is the biggest tournament of Gomez's career, in front of his home crowd, too. He doesn't have the seasoning of Peach at high-profile events, but he has the talent to win, if he only lets himself. He must start hitting 'em with authority now.

A push out for a jump shot. Daz grabbed his jump cue and missed the one ball. Gomez played safe...
 
He makes as good hit on the 1, but I think he leaves Gomez a bad shot, can barely see the 1.

After a series of safeties, Gomez almost kicks the 1 ball on the side, but instead he sold out.
A cluster of balls is the only saving grace for Gomez...
