Wrap color suggestions

This is one of the SW cues that I'm considering. What do you think about a green wrap to match the veneer? Feel free to suggest other colors also.

what is the wood in that sw? i am sorry.. but i dont think i like the contrast of color.. cortland white with green specs would probably look nice on it though.. of course.. this is all just my opinion.. i dont wish to offend anybody..

What are the woods? Look like goncalo alves and pau ferro. If so I would go with white/green or white brown. Maybe the right color of brown leather would look good but better pictures would be nice.

I have to agree with Chris here Hal. A white with Green spec wrap would look nice with this wood, HOWEVER I find the woods used do not contrast well against each other.

Could this effect possible resale value?

One of my SW's has a white double brown wrap on it. The one in your picture is black. Has the wrap been changed or is the picture just bad?

Personally, I would like it better if there was more contrast between the woods. Like Murray's that he posted above.

Hal: I gotta be brutally honest here... in general, I dislike green on a pool cue. I like the natural woods on the cue but the veneer work does not work for me. In this case wrap color would not improve the cue for me.

I would go with

a medium to dark brown with green spec in it, or a stacked leather with brown tones and green tones, or a textured lizard wrap, probably green, a little darker than the veneers.

Hal,

Since you are looking at one of Roy's cues why not use his site to help you decide if another wrap would look better. Copy and save the cue you like on your pc and paste it into paint. Then copy and save another cue with a different colored wrap and also paste it into the same screen in paint. Move the cues around so you can see both of them and then just cut and paste. I'm sure there are other ways you can do it better but it will give you an idea.

I think along the lines with Jazz. Cork would probably do the colors of the woods proud. This might be one cue I would consider a medium-light brown stacked leather wrap. If not that, Blue with red and yellow specks
