WRISTS - The "hidden power catalyst" of a great stroke or "just along for the ride"?

Interesting that "nobcitypool" & "Neil" are both deriding CJ in a similar way and using the same "nut hugging" slang for anyone that is interested in what CJ has to say...wonder if Neil's in cahoots with Scott too?!?!

Don't leave out Lou F., who euphemistically speaks of the same notion - "macadamia clasper". I guess it's supposed to appeal to our (assumed) aversion to anything that may make us appear to be gay in the eyes of other "real" men.

BTW I got my FREE CJ Wiley "Ultimate Pool Secrets" DVD in the mail yesterday... as promised. If I thank him here, will that make me a nut hugger, too?

Fµck it... Thanks, CJ.

I see all of the usual kangaroos are in session again, CJ. Enjoy your day in court. I'm signing off on this thread. Nothing good can come out of it at this point, and I'm a guy who could use help more than just about anybody. At this point, it resembles "Lord of the Flies" more than a pocket billiards discussion. Thanks all, for saving me from a fate worse than death - actually trying something without documented scientific proof that it actually works.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

'teaming up' or.... he is Scott Lee. He writes so very much like him.

Just because we're both literate, something you're obviously unfamiliar with, doesn't mean we are the same person. We don't even live in the same state. LOL. All of this from my personal stalker who is supposed to have me on ignore. And you think I need help.

no offence English but you have to stop with the tapping of the threads, you keep burying posts i would like to see answered :)

Tap, tap, tap!

And what's with this quoting entire posts every time you agree with something in them, English!? Highlight with the mouse and cut out the extraneous stuff, please. Show some forum decorum, eh?

You guys really need to go back to school and learn to read. And get your heads out of your arses. If you bothered to READ at all, you would know that I never said that, and you would also know that I already made a post to Mikjary stating that very thing.

But, go ahead with your nonsense and put words in peoples mouths, then condemn them for what you guys make up. Also, go ahead with your childish conspiracy theories. Just make up more crap. Seems like the right thing to do in this thread anyways, just make stuff up. I used to have respect for you. Not so sure anymore. And, no one is in "cahoots" with anyone except for English having his head up CJ's butt.

Right!

Geez, Nob, I have never used the ignore function on any board I've ever been a member of, but this guy just may be the first. And believe me, I won't be doing any peeking (although I may publish his screen name on my "Ignore List").

CJ: I'm interested in these concepts you've mentioned. Is the following shot (7-ball) an example fo the concept of "cueing low" (lower than would normally be needed to achieve that level of follow) and swiping up thru the ball to increase follow (is that what you mean by using the top of the tip?)? Just trying to build a mental picture of your concept.

No?

CJ, one of the most important things I learned from Dalton is to know when to walk away from bad energy. Right now, you're surrounded by it here. You have so many positive things coming for you in the near future. You don't need this. Go.

For two people supposedly ignoring each other, you both don't half natter on...

The only "negative" energy is coming from CJ and his groupies. The rest of it is just facts. Too bad you think truth is so negative. Guess some can't handle the truth and just want to be led around by someone.

people

Keep it up guys and you will be able to drive away another person who could contribute much to the board.

Tolerance would go a long way here. If you don’t like some one’s idea, teaching methods or whatever, leave them alone and go your own way to create your own following if that is what you seek.

The truth speaks for itself and when people try different methods they will quickly learn the truth of what helps them play better.

Taking on some role of arbiter, rule enforcer or pretending to be the person with the only or the right answers is divisive and arrogant.

I think that what is being done to CJ is very unfortunate. I cringe when I see a person with good intent attempting to help and having to read the ugly comments some of you are making. I know that I am much less likely to be around the board anymore because of this sad state of affairs. In fact it is CJ’s attempts to be helpful that bring me back to this thread. The ugly stuff by intolerant and rigid people drives me away.

You know sometimes you have to wade through a lot of useless stuff to get to one nugget of gold. And it is often worthwhile.

Some people have more difficulty than others expressing an idea or a concept that is subtle and yet it is often worthwhile to struggle with their thought patterns to learn a little more than you knew before.

People really need to read this mans post again.

Fran: I resisted for as long as I could, but I've finally chosen to put a few people on "ignore" and it has cleaned up the forum very nicely. The veil of negativity was lifted from the forum & it's much more enjoyable.

For the sake of clarity:

Ignore List
  • ATM
  • Neil
  • nobcitypool
  • Pangit
  • Wileydog

A pretty short list, huh? That's all it took to begin enjoying the forum again.

Well said!

Thank you Joe!

I'm thankful I was blessed with sufficient intelligence and discretion to simply ignore someone without having to rely on a button. I'm also thankful I'm not such a petty little person that I have to tell people about it. I hope you at least have the integrity, unlike English, to actually let the ignore function work. One stalker is sufficient, thank you!

Yeah, I think there is a solution here.

Any time you are reading through a thread in which the Thread Starter, or probably anyone else posting in it, makes an assertion or claim with which you disagree, or offers instruction which, in your opinion, runs counter to conventional wisdom or known physical principles, then you should start your own Parallel Thread (use the original thread's title with a catchy suffix) and post your disagreement there. That way, the original thread will remain unsullied with controversy and conflict, with only agreement and high-fives, while you and your like-minded contrarians can post away, free from complaints of negativity.

What do you think of my solution?
