I believe its cost is mainly attributed to its rarity and its topic.

Its a good read and has some cool pictures.
I got mine in a billiard collection that 6 people looked at for 1500 and didn't want to buy. The collection had all three Eddie Robins books, this Buddy Hall book, 100 accustat tapes and six nice cues including two schulers and a nice viking.
I've sold over 2k worth of the collection and still have all the books, tapes, and half the cues

$300? Wow...I got one directly from Buddy Hall when he was up in my neck of the woods. He signed it along with the author WW Woody. I guess I had better keep it if it's worth that much!!!

I have a .pdf copy . . .
If your interested . . . prints out nice - its been xerox'ed from an original book. I printed it out and stuck it in a binder . . . easy read and I can seel it to you for a pittance compared to the real books.
BTW, the stories are good and the book is well worth reading. I'm a big Buddy Hall fan, so it was an easy choice for me, but I'd recommend it to any pool fan.

I have the transcript of the book before it ever went to the publisher. It was given to me by the writer of the book Wayne Woody before the book was published. It is page by page written on one side of the page only.It is in a box .. not actually in the book form yet.
