Never used one but looks like a good value. You may also want to save up a bit and pick up a new or used Dale perry. I am in the camp that they provide a great value (though that is heavily debated on here).

Look on ebay for a full spliced sneaky pete with a maple shaft. The ones I bought from my local sporting good store were usually made of balsa or ramin wood, and fell apart within a few months.

McDermott lucky would be the cue, keep the receipt I have had to send one in for warranty. The cue comes with a 2 year warranty .
