WTB Florida Fred cue case

I've had a few throught the years, they are nicely built. I stopped using them because of the weight.

Good luck in your search, and thanks for reminding me of those great cases. I hadn't thought about them in years.

I've had a few as well. They never caught on because of the fact you mentioned, excessive weight. He did use some nicely figured woods, and I am still looking for the right one.

Florida Fred case and 2 matching Zylr cues

If still interested, I have a Florida Fred case and 3 matching Zylr cues (case woods match Z cues). All exquisite and never played.

For S-A-L-E!!!

The cues price me out, but post some pics and maybe we can do a deal. Need your price as well. thanks. HEH

I used to see these all the time years ago on ebay....phenominal work...does he still build? His website has been out of comission or he changed it to a photo site.

Me too, had a few as well. He, like other case makers I know, just quit making them.

RE Fla Fred

As you know, Fred quit the biz. Too bad. Best hard case man in the indy.

Okay, the "wants" and "needs" require I get $3500 for the "set" (matching woods: case & 3 Z's: player, breaker & jump) Note that Kerry Zylr is also (rumor has it) out of biz -- no longer producing. So, his stock is climbing as well. He was a GREAT craftsman. (If interested, I'll have to find PICS)

I have a 1x2 case -- Birdseye Maple top, bottom, front sides -- Gaboon Ebony ends -- Ivory inlay -- Exotic Dovetail detail and banding is Bloodwood -- interior is a Grey table felt -- upgrade padded leather handle, full length brass hinge and key locking catches -- signed by Floridafred -- $450 + S&H & Ins. (If interested, I'll have to find PICS)

I know another FF case. His last remaining case is unfinished and held by a buddy of mine. He's looking for $300 + S&H & Ins. (PICS attached.) If interested, send me an email John@FullHousePro.Com

Fla Fred & Zylr

Fred's doing pics of birds and no more cases -- even if you beg.
RE Z, rumor: Z's "estate" was taken and tossed (lock, stock and lathe) after he got sick. Gotta love them Landlord's, right?
That's all I know.

Not true.
Just another rumor.
I called him yesterday after reading about this rumor.
