I posted a thread looking for one of these once and got no replys, after a month I gave up. I had a chance to buy a nice one at the 2006 or 2007 Derby City Classic for $300 and missed out on it. Good luck with your search.

I like this one also.

That's nice, but the one I crave has the Hoppe butt ring. I sold mine 30 some years ago and would like another...

Yep, I was with $takehor$e when we saw that old Meucci cue with a hoppe ring.

If I remember right Brian Roberts from Rack 66 in Louisville had it, but I think it sold for about $300.

It was all original and had one shaft. Old patina on finish, and looked like it had been played.

I haven't seen one with a hoppe ring since.

I have one but it wont let me post pictures or anything else. this is the third try. ok edit. I guess it was the pictures that held things up.

lets try it this way

the irish linen is not coated. it is dirty. I have not attempted to clean it yet.
the points have marks and some small dings but no major dents. the shaft has no collar and the replacement fiber ferrule is separated. I have a new shaft for it. I have not attempted to refinish the cue because I thought I would leave that up to the buyer. I work on cues and can have this cue as shinny as a new penny in a couple of weeks. If we cant work out a price I will not be offended, Ill just refinish and use it myself.

this is a beautiful cue that is not too busy. I have a Schon that is similar to a CX 60 and that is as fancy as I would ever want. A million inlays takes skill but to me it is to much for a man's cue. the hoppe ring bumper-less butt is another great feature. I cant stand those kids bouncing their cues constantly. This is a classic man's cue made, in the day, that will only appreciate in value.
