I have had no luck finding a flat face Tim Scruggs in my price range that interests me so I am now on the hunt for a newer Bobby Hunter or Cognoscenti cue at 19oz or lighter.

Thanks Tony, I have seen that one and it is nice but it is 19.4 and you know how I like cues 18.7 or lighter. I will also consider plain Ebony Cognoscentis.

I was just at Joe's shop for a new tip and after the tip was done, he showed me some of his NEW batch of cues in progress. Some will be under 18.7 for sure. My Purpleheart cue is 16oz exactly. Give him a call. He is the best cuemaker I have ever purchased a cue from.

He is a great guy and knows how to make a great hitting cue.

Joey Friggin Gold! Makes cognoscenti cues, the greatest cues in the world as far as im concerned. I play with a plain ebony one and it plays better than any cue I have ever had. Granted this may be personal preference, but i have played with a plain bobby hunter, nice bender, darrin hill, omega dpk and many more. Cogs just play best for me. The ebony in my cue is friggin alive.
