Hey I am not sure of the design you are looking for, but here are two of my Tads, let me know. ( See icon on the left)
If you don't find what you're looking for I would also recommend checking out this cue:

Chad really makes a great hitting cue and his work is top notch. Plus, it's pretty hard to beat that price.
The tad i'm looking for look exactly like a harvey martin cue. birdeyes maple forearm and sleeve, white delrin or ivory buttcap, ivory joint, brown leather wrap or cork wrap. Red linen collar on the shaft only. It's my holy grail cue. I've tried and tried but TAD will not make a custom cue anymore which is disappointing.![]()
It's about a 1.5 to 2K cue tops. Here's the last one I remember seeing:

I have seen a similar cue at Hard Times. The one I saw was a post-1983's cue because it has the TAD logo on the butt cap. I believe what looked like a flat faced 3/8x10 joint, but the joint collar was not ivory. I do not know what material was used.
Did Joe ever sell his cue? If he didn't, that would be the perfect opportunity. And if he did, why not try hunting down the current owner and make an offer? If it is your holy grail, I'm sure its worth a shot. Beautiful cue from the pictures that were posted. If I had the opportunity, I would love to own one.
