Tony Gill Custom Cue. 1/1 Pono Custom Pool Cue. This particular pool cue has a Black Palm Wood Forearm, a Highly Figured, (hardwood cored), Amboyna Burl Handle, and a Black Palm Buttsleave, with a "Rambo" style Buttcap, made of durable Black Micarta. It also has German Brass Ringwork at A, B, C, D, & E, with Intricate rings at both ends of the handle area. The Hardrock Maple Shaft has a Pro Taper, measures 13mm @ the Ivorine Ferrule, and has a LePro Tip. The Cue has a 3/8-10 joint. The cue weighs 19 ounces, has a 12.75mm(Tony brought it down for me before he shipped it) tip and the tip is a Medium Moori test hit only with tan chalk! Its a clean cue. NOW, most of you have read my posts on this. Looks like Tony basically told me to stick it, so, here I have this cue and its a shooters cue but I have my pierce, so no need to keep this one. This is my issue with the cue. There is a crack in the Amboyna. This cue is up for sale to the highest offer and AS IS, since I have no experience with cue making and do not know how solid the cue is. I have played a few games with it and it hits great,so it might never bother anything. No clue. You can see crack in last pic. I paid 229.00 plus ship because Tony is a no-name right now.

Best offer? Trade? Not sure if cue can be saved, or even if its needs it.

Bump for a good dude....

Hey Felix, does the 10% off coupon from Lowes come with it? Lol! Its a shame its got that crack, man thats a good looking cue! Good luck man.

Pretty

Have it filled with black appoxy. Then finished over. It will look too sweet to sell.
Nick :)

You could have the crack fixed with adhesive, then install a leather, cork or linen wrap. But that still won't fix the shoddy ringwork.
It's a shame, though, because that's some pretty wood in that cue.

Thanks...

for all the ideas.. good and bad.. LOL..

I DO think I have a lowe's coupon around here somewhere.. :)

And if I wanted to spend another penny on this cue, I would do something but then the ringwork would be picked on. :(

Blah. How about a free bowl of soup too?

a little confused from the first post, but it comes with two shafts right? one 13 and one 12.75?

ill start the bidding at $120

that little crack is common with burl woods, and they happen to everybody in the industry because the wood is that way,the ring work is fine for a cue in this price range,if the cue plays well its a bargain, and good looking too,

i have an idea that it probably looks pretty good and the play is good or you wouldn't have it,i know that you are a knowledgeable cue man.

best wishes

dean

is that crack under or through the finish?

Ahem!!!

Cue is still avail for anyone that wants to try their hands at it.
