Yes Wang Can!!! (UT10B Update/Recap/final 6)

Wang did get a few rolls towards the end... But played some masterful safeties under pressure... Outmoving the champion a few times... Neither Joey or Danny D cared for the emotion the kid was showing towards the end.... Personally, I like to see them have a lil fire in the belly... ;)

Are you sure about this? I believe it's 1 set, longer race to 12. I don't think Wang needs to beat him twice.

Nope, not sure at all. :p You could be right. I know they are playing a longer set, but I figured it would be 2x, otherwise it would be cheating Mika out of a 2nd chance. A race to 12 is not the same as 2 races to 10, in terms of momentum and all.

Edit: You're right, I'm wrong. 1 race to 12.

I do agree with you on the 12 not the same. I'm ok with the 1 match final, but I think it should be more than a 2 game difference. Maybe a single race to 15 would make more sense.
 
Wow this kid "Wang Can" really mede me proud, i still remember when he was still 14 yrs old , first time to go to qualifiers here for the W10ball, he has a tough fight all the way till the last day when finally he went in, he cry his heart out like a child, after which celebrating like a child having fun playing and horsing around with me back them, for almost every year, i saw him grow strong, playing some money games with the big guns beating out dennis orcullo, but dennis return the favor the very next day murdering him with a score od 11-4
It been quite a journey for this kid who is always with his mentor dad that always supports him with his endeavor.

Mika is on fire! 10-5. It's so nice to see an offensive match, with both guys gunning for it.

It should have been 9-6, but Wang scratched on the prior rack, on the 8 or 9b, giving Mika bih on the 10. He had some lapses, probably fatigue.
 
I know all the women were hoping Wang would go as deep as possible, which he did.

I guess the Iceman should now be known as the......Wang Blocker.
