Yes please come back, lets all try and be civil and be posting pals. Lets all try and get along.

Yoba, Don't leave!! I remember chatting with you during the DCC at billiard club net. Stick around you bring some added humor to the board and you will be sorely missed.

Jerry and other good people

Thank you for your very warm support. I dont think I am special or post anything that is earth shaking. I do it for my own selfish therapeutic needs so to speak. Talking about pool is second to playing pool. And listening to others ideas and stories about pool is a great way to inspire me at the game. Sometimes I bitch and seem out of line if I am I think that you, my friends and loved ones would tell me and I could correct myself. But no one needs to be talked down to and I decide whether I want to take a lesson and from whom. This board is full of good people and I hope you prosper but to listen to negativity and such verbage does nothing for the game. It only creates ill will and contempt. I will peek my head in from time to time, if you allow me, to read posts from my favorite AZ'ers and I might log in to ask a question like where is the best BBQ joint in Louisville or what the hell is a "pro taper". But I dont want to waste my time with a board that is dominated by single voices of antagonism.
Yours truly John/Yobagua

Hey John,
no need to leave. I got upset one time with two jerks on here. I said my good-byes. I, had many ask me not to leave. After much consideration, I am still here.

Some just love to see there names in print. I could care less about mine and really careless about there's. One guy, just sticks his nose in on every subject. Not knowing what he's talking about.

I have never seen you out of line, and me as others, will never see that. Mark it up to a jerk. Your the good guy, he's not. He will post something and then re-write over and over again, one post on top of another, over and again. Were all stupid, and he's real smart. He's the only one on this board with brains, right. Sure. Were all out of date.

I now laugh at his Bull Crap. He make a fool of him-self almost every post...
He is a joke, your not. Stay, my man, stay.

Hey John,

To add to Blud's post, I believe its tap, tap, tap!!!!!!!! Incidently, I also miss Manlyshot's posts. We disagreed over just about everything. I still miss his input. Don't make us miss yours.

Yoba, you usually make sense. Hang in & ignore the
ones that get to you.

Hondo,

At one time there was an "ignore posts" button somewhere on this site. I hope it's still there and Yobaqua uses it!

thank you

thank you so much for your thoughts. I am ashamed to say that I said " I have no time for a board...etc". There are a lot of good people on this board and it seems that because of a "squeeking" (sqwaking) wheel I neglected to see the other good ones. Why should one want to disassocite himself with terrific people who have the same interests as you. Thank you for your generosity. I will listen and read and refrain from posting for now as I try to gather my thoughts and give second thoughts to anything I might want to say in the future. By the way my game has been so terrible as of late I am trying to work myself out of it. So maybe all these good thoughts will inspire me.

Welcome to the club.
My elbow and brain were flying all over the place yesterday.
I was so pizzed, I worked out on my table until midnight last night.

Is there a virus going around? My game is in the crapper right now too!!! I can't figure it out just yet! I'm working on it and I hope sooner than later, I'll be back in stroke.

Thanks RickW.. for taking the "wind out of my sails" here I thought it was my superior skills that made it possible for me to sneak out a few wins against you...NOW I find out you have a "virus" ... of all the excuses... LOL

Can't wait for our 14.1 match..

Tom,

LOL!! You really do have to be careful what you say on this board don't you? Excuses are as much a part of pool as the cues and balls don't you think?

Are we on for this Wednesday at Diamond?

Don't go Yobagua. I too enjoy your posts. After all, besides you and JMB who can I disagree/agree about women and men playing pool??

As for playing bad. I'm sorry I had to steal everyone's pool playing ability to do well in the tournament last week. I will try to return it sometime soon :)

Thanks Sarah! I think we more agree than anything. And if there are more sports woman like yourself in the game womans pool will only go far. I just want to make a comment here as I have read many things about Jeannette Lee. She has shown herself to be a very warm and open human being. Always willing to take the time and talk with her fans and the fans of the WPBA. I also appreciate her dedication to the sport playing all games and not afraid of putting her skills on the line. She like you only deserve the best the game has to offer.

Hi John,

Thanks for continuing to post. Don't ever let the small minds win! You are one of the posters I would like to meet. I notice your location is not on your profile. Will you be at the Super Billiards Expo? How about the BCA's? Someone had a great idea to encourage AZ members to meet at each major event. I agree.

Incidently, may I inquire as to what "yobaqua" refers? Is it an ethnic term? An honored friend or family member name? Just an interest in the origin of your "handle".

What's in a name?

Let me guess! :p
YOB is boy spelled backwards. AGUA is water.

WATERBOY!? ;)

Hi John,

Way to go! Don't let one or two negative posters influence you to stop posting. Why let them win?

I met Jeanette one time in Reno and I was very impressed with her. She was warm, very approachable and had a great sense of humor. I love the fact that she dresses to the 9's all the time. I've never seen her looking drab. I don't think other women players should have to do that but I think
it's great for her that she does it. It's always a pleasure for me when I see her!
