Skyler Woodward just posted on his Facebook page.

This looks interesting!

I have to smile as I was writing articles for Inside Pool YEARS AND YEARS ago, and I did an article on the YOUNG GUNS. Those young guns included Corey Duell, Coltrain, etc. They might be part of the old guns now.

Enjoy!

I'm hoping the PPV is not too much, I'd spend $10 on this match. Sky looks to be the next SVB of American players with how he is playing.

It wont be close...,

If Archer and Morris come to play and the Money is right, it wont be close, they will take it off!

I resent the fact that you refer to us older gentlemen as 'old farts'.
Why, just yesterday afternoon, whilst playing One Pocket at the local pool hall, I bent over for a shot (one of those pesky three railers, if memory serves) when I accidentally farted and blew half my Depends all over the table next to me. It was very unsettling.
The guy playing there took umbrage at the fact that I wouldn't apologize and called me out. Rising to the occasion I told him that he, and his ugly ass girlfriend, should consider themselves lucky. If I hadn't of cleaned them (the Depends) out last Friday, the both of them would be knee deep in shit, about now.
The next thing I remembered was waking up in the Emergency Room with a nurse looking down at me asking: "How you feeling?"
I looked up at her and said. "Depends." :)

Looks like we might have action.

The youngsters are playing all the time, and in serious stroke.

I think the old guys have talent but aren't playing as much.

I wish Hall was in this. IMO he seems the most promising to take SVB's throne as King of USA. Styler is definitely getting there, but maybe after Hall. Hall's stroke is almost scarily similar to Shane's and he was the most impressive at the Mosconi Cup with the way he composed himself and handled the pressure. Plus he's a good all around player, which is a good quality to have when trying to be the best. But nowadays Skyler is beating everyone left and right including double dipping Shane which is a tough feat for anyone. Good luck to both gentlemen in their future endeavors. Also go USA, bring the Cup back home, I will be there in live attendance to root for us.

You make a good point...,

It might be closer that I think..., but Archer and Morris both break so big, it could be a run away, cant wait to see it!

I can't wait this is at my local pool hall so I get to see in person should be fun to watch

Rodney won the Mezz West Ten Ball at Hard Times Sacramento a few weeks ago and the last few matches he was incredible, defeating Mika, Amar Kang and Oscar D.

When he gets it going, nobody can keep up and Johnny's high gear ain't to shabby either. Look for the young guns to get schooled.

Pulling for the old guys. Of course I have children their age and grand children the age of the young guns. Damn I`m old but still play pretty good, just ask my customers who are supplementing my retirement funds. Ha Ha :)

Sky just "double dipped" Shane.

Hard to compete with that...;)

Won't take much to be more exciting than the latest fight...;)

Funny how time passes...The South Dakota kid isn't a kid these days.

Looks like a good event. $20K, 8,9, and 10 ball, 2 days.
