HI EVERY1

CueTable Help

and it better if u add a diagram to show the drill ....

THANKS

Place the cueball on the spot, throw a ball out past the side pocket, and shoot it into the closest corner with draw so your tip is on the cloth when you're done stroking. Check the straightness of your stroke with the spot.

race to 5 with the ghost

break, ball in hand after the break. Beat the ghost in a race to 5.

once you beat that..

break ball in hand after break, spot all balls.

once you beat that

break, no ball in hand.

That's a good drill. I like a slight variation of that though. Use the 7, 8, 9 instead of the 1,2,3. It helps to train your brain getting used to sinking the last 3 balls.

Start with ball in hand and play a race to 10. If you run all three balls you 'win' 1'game. If you miss a ball, you 'lose' 1 game. If you lose 10 first, then start over. If you win 10 first, then add in the 6 ball and start over. Do this till you can run 10 racks of 9 full balls.

Thanks for every1
and thanks cyrex

and i wanna ask u what means :
Wagon Wheel
Dewalt 18volt.

?

Tough drill...I can barely ever finish it. If you can do it this way...try shooting them all into the same pocket.

Im with Cor on thin one!!

Race to 5 or 7 with the Ghost! It may not be considered a drill but I find playing the Ghost equally on both sides helps a lot. You get oppurtunities to run several balls or playing the Ghost safe.

Works for me. :)

Cheers.

Favorite drill

Is one I got from Bert Kinnester on one of his DVDs. Don't really have the time to explain that one but I play the ghost and he is a run out player.

Here is one for all you guys that think you have a straight stroke. Place a ball in the center of the table. Place the cue ball about a foot from the corner pocket for a straight in shot. Shoot hard with follow and see if you can make the cue ball scratch, remember shoot hard. Try it, I find very few players have a good enough stroke to accomplish this.

This drill was on the DVD from Pool School with Randyg and Scott Lee. I do it every time I go to the table.
Place an object ball on the spot. Place the cue ball about a diamond away and hit a perfect stop shot. When you are comfortable with this, move the cue ball off to about a 45 degree angle. Now hit the same stop shot while cutting the object ball into the pocket. Since the two balls are at an angle the cue ball will not stop. Instead it should go off at a 90 degree angle from the point of contact. The cue ball should go directly into the side pocket. When you are comfortable with this start adjusting the point of contact with the cue stick on the cue ball. Hit high to hit before the pocket, then hit low to go past the pocket. Adjust the amount of low and high to hit different places on the side rail. You can place other object balls along the rail and try to hit them. I like to put several balls along the rail and try to break up the cluster.
I hope this was clear. You should get these DVDs. There is a lot of good stuff on them.
If you do get the DVDs I think you will agree with me that Janette Lee is better looking than Scott Lee.

Based on Burt Kinister's "The Short Game"

Run out balls in rotation, preferably coming off the back rail first.
