You're claims always come with missing or vague details, just like this one where you took a random Asian player, that nobody knows, from a C Player to playing in Pro-Ams (whatever that means). I think it's very safe to say that the portion of your resume that includes player reviews is VERY thin, and that's after probably around 15 years on here as an instructor.
I can give you this player's contact details for a reference. He had trouble stringing a run of three balls, we did 10-plus hour lessons over some months, he then played in Asian pro-amateur meetups, he has won some tournaments including defeating some pros, he's a player rep for cue sticks now and travels widely.
As I mentioned on the other thread, I will give anyone who asks a free lesson, player and teacher references or both. However, since people flame almost every post I make I keep names discreet until inquiries are made. I have quite a few pro and teacher friends who avoid AZ because of the toxicity.
Tom Rossman and Steve Lillis have played with me, done trick shot shows with me, and have watched me teach. They are both members of BCA's Hall of Fame. Players like Ronny Park and Tom Kennedy have done the same or similar with me, stayed in my home as my guest, competed in tournaments with me, etc.
I would like you and Sparkle to either contact my references as above or withdraw your objections. At this point, is your claim that these people lie when they say they stand behind my teaching?!
BD, here's a list of people I've collaborated with on projects as good pool people stick together; Ronny Park, Tim “The Monk” Miller, Donny Lutz, Tony Robles, Dom Esposito, Allan P. Sand, Tom Kennedy, Max Eberle, Mike Massey, Dom “The Drill Instructor” Esposito, Nancy Cote, Tom “Dr. Cue” Rossman, Tom Simpson, Steve Lillis, Jason “The Michigan Kid” Lynch, Neil Johnson, Doug “Pool Tables 101” Walters, Ted Mauro, Ken Tewksbury . . . but most of these stay off/stayed off AZ because of the toxicity from some who are legendary forum trolls!
Additionally, you can see YEARS of my teaching columns in past issues of InsidePool, and I have articles online--and two pool books--and a three-hour Pool DVD, since you just this week said now is not a good time for a free lesson, however, you clearly remain interested in my teaching.
I guess the only real issue is I don't pursue my students to post about "how wonderful I am" online--I DO pursue them for references, I ask them to keep the secrets discreet I've shown to them, and to refer me for lessons to others who see their improvement.
PLEASE can we stop beating this dead horse, please? I get it, Sparkle is a person with personal issues, but you are a nice guy, so please take the hint.
