Yu Ram Cha mignt be the best ever

Yu Ram sure does play well and has improved tremendously this past year.

Best ever though? She needs to win a few DOZEN more championships before she locks up that title. Consistency over a long period of time is what carves these "Best ever" titles in stone monuments.

Its very hard to compare the women players of today from those of yesteryear. You have different training, technology and tools available to players today that the older players didnt have. Plus you have so many more opportunities for women to play professionally that did not exist before. Its like anything else. If you have 1,000 people trying maybe 0.1% will achieve stunning results. So if you have 1,000,000 people trying well the stunning achivement pool just got larger. then all of sudden you have 0.1% of the stunning achievers who break out and take the game to an even higher level never before seen.

As long as the women have good opportunities to be rewarded for their achivements we will see growth in the skill level of the womens game. Just try watching some womens matches from the 70s and 80s and compare them to the play today. Its like night and day.

I never insulted you...I just said that the clip you linked to was at least 10 years old. If that offended you, I'm terribly sorry.

I think it's funny that YOU, of all people, would get so riled up over such a trivial comment.

I think GYK's top game is a bit better. When her break is working and she is spreading the balls nice, she can beat anybody. (and quick)

She very well could become the best of all time, but she will have to sustain her game over time like Allison has. She plays great and seems so focused when she plays. I am sure her pool career will be very rewarding over time. But, until she has amassed the wins, the crown is Allison's.
 
Yu Ram Cha

I've seen her in a interviews refer to revenging matches she lost. At the Predator 10ball in Vegas after beating Shane and another champion, she told the interviewer, "I like to revenge my matches, now I want Rodney Morris". I laughed like hell. She's got spunk.:smile:

He was talking about red rep....negative reputation. Look for the box with the blue line, in the bottom left corner of every post, and click, "I disapprove". It takes away a certain number of rep points, dependent on how many rep points you have...
