A Few Beers.. But Here a Question? I'm asking Thru AZBilliards ...What is Require to do a Vendor at an USBA Tournament?????????????

Have you tried flowers and chocolate, or maybe wine?
Good suggestions. Wine is one of his best things.

Or, he could do a Google search for 'united states billiard association email address' and get lots of email addresses to direct his inquiries to.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

It does look like a different cue than Carl is holding.

JFlowers advertise cues with inlays and some (most) are overly.

Here is the description of Carl’s cue from the web site:
Myth meets crazy detail! VALKYRIE is a full‑inlay showpiece—natural ebony, Ivory‑style Juma, abalone, and aluminum—offered wrapless with an inlaid grip or with White Lizard and Embossed Elephant Ear leather (standard or triple‑stack). Built to stun, tuned to run racks.

Now I see that on some cues they have a new term - micro inlay…

Ebony in a tux. JF30‑03F layers exotic solid black ebony with razor‑clean Juma detailing, a band of engraved abalone micro‑inlays, and a double‑stack Genius leather wrap—modern, elegant, and built to hold the line.
And some are plain overly

Abalone turned up. Ebony tuned in. Massive shell work over a calm ebony canvas, ivory‑style overlays, and silver‑wire ringwork, finished with a pebble‑embossed leather wrap—dressed to impress, built to behave.

The point is that the overly quality today is very high, and only the price is a giveaway

This is all very confusing to me, lol. But the wrapless handle in this PureX cue just looks so real. Can see the unique figure, and grain lines, going through it, in different parts. Could it be some sort of a wrap, like this other guy was told by someone? The Marketing in these cues confuses the hell out of me, lol. But, there should be no Overlays in a cue that costs nearly $2k. That is just wrong, in my opinion, lol. They are charging people over $2k, with the CF option added, for that cue.

SightRight: Stunned by how good this is

Here let me saved you guys your time and money of how to find your center vision when playing pool:

The best way I can describe this is, you can learn Shakespeare on your own or you can learn it from a high school teacher or you can learn it from a Harvard professor. On a case-by-case basis, you might see a variety of results, but on average, students out of Harvard are going to have a huge advantage over anyone self-taught.

SightRight is more than just finding your vision center. That's covered very quickly in Feeney's coaching. It's a process meant to show students how to see angles correctly.

De Luna at it again

Not knowing any details, I’m going to give De Luna a temporary pass. What did him and the other player discuss before the game? Unless you were standing there, you don’t know. So depending on that conversation determines whether it was a good call Or not.

There are other pros that I might be willing to give the benefit of the doubt to, but Jeff isn’t one of them. That said, you could be right.

What, in your opinion, is the minimum Fargo you should have before entering a WNT Open?

Until demand exceeds supply, I see no issue with bangers entering, as long as they are respectful of the game.

If we get to a situation in pool with Shane where it costs 100k USD to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods, then that will be a good problem to have.
See, what I think would be awesome would be a pro-am style event a day or two before the major tournaments similar to what they do for professional golf. 16 amateur spots matched up at random with 16 of the WNT professionals, $1,500 entry fee ($750 off the top to a pro and $750 for Pro-Am prize pool). Single elimination, race to 7, games live streamed/published to YouTube, commentary for semi finals & final.

Now THAT is an experience I would pay for

Dealings with Joe Salazar Connoisseur of Cues

It is easy to tell others what to do when you have no skin in the game. I empathize with Joe’s family and earnestly regret his passing but returning property to others should be done within 2-3 mths. of Joe’s death. If the original owner’s identity is not known, store those cues for 18 months but meanwhile advertise that you have them, like on FB, X, Az website. If the owners can prove the cue is theirs, return the cue at their shipping expense. But if you are experiencing hassles or what you consider is a bullshit dodge to return your property, go after Joe’s heirs with vigor and relentlessly.

My cues are special and cost me a lot of money and I won’t let anyone treat me like a jerk when they in fact could be. Not
returning the cues is equivalent to confiscating them as finders keepers when in fact the heirs know all the cues do not belong to Joe. Again, I’m sorry for Joe’s passing but stealing is condemnable even when grieving Joe’s passing.

I think it’s pretty cavalier to tell others to move on or forget about fighting to recover their cues when it is not their property, monetary loss or sentimental or valuable pool cue(s). Nope, I say form a collective effort to recover your cues because there could potentially be many thousands of dollars in pool cues unreturned. The larger the overall potential value becomes, the more likely a civil suit will go forth and by all means, also ask for potential damages for out of pocket and willful denial by the defendants to return your property after multiple requests. Let no one mistreat you.

Does playing Pool with Families or Friends mess up your real game??

Trying to be happy for the weaker player that defeated me was a real challenge. The $5 tournament first round. I expected to cash and the youngster was aware of my reputation. I kept a stiff upper lip at the handshake as I had missed a simple shot. Grrrr...He stepped inside my extended hand and....HUGGED ME! eek. It brought me out of my deepest funk and forced a Smile ☺.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

I offered to cut it up.

I was watching the sale, considered buying it and forgot about it.

Is it sold? Not sold? Buyer wants to back out? What's going on?

I had to refund the buyer. He paid, and then he wanted a refund, very shortly after he paid. The buyer believes that the Wrapless BEM handle is fake, and that it is some sort of a decal. He said that someone told him that the handle is some sort of a plastic wrap, lol. I would be really happy if I could get a $100 for the pool cue butt. Would be cool to learn the truth too, lol. Thanks.

De Luna at it again

Just to be fair, the ref called it on Mika, not Jeff, he supposed to sit tight and act like a pro should though.
I was ring side for that match. As I saw it, the ref called the "no call" and Mika wanted to argue it with Jeff. I always thought Mika was out of line for that. Then I learned what a tool DeLuna is and stopped caring...:ROFLMAO:

De Luna at it again

The letter of the law vs the spirit of the law.
When before the Judge my explanation of the circumstances got, Guilty, one dollar next. So he followed the Letter but also recognized The Spirit.
I personally developed the habit of calling everything as a comic self state mint just barely audible. To cover the Nits. I encountered one that claimed uncalled 8 ball. When rounding the table after survey I tapped the corner and said, "right here". I guess to satisfy him I would have called the pocket sweetheart before the shot rather than after. 🤷‍♂️ 😉. His plea to the tournament director was diss missed.
