Nice Meucci - Unknown Model

I went through the Meucci archives and was unable to locate this exact model. It has the "originals" logo but I know it must be somewhat newer based on the black dot shaft that is original to the cue. It must've been a special run for a distributor.

The cue rolls very well both together and apart, and I would say it's 9 out of 10 condition with just light signs of use.

I had never hit with the black dot before but I think this cue plays very nicely. I was pleasantly surprised really.

The butt is not ebony and appears to be stained maple. It has the usual finish over the wrap.

Joint protectors included.

Butt is 14.52 oz
Shaft is 4.03 oz
Tip is 12.5 mm
If you're looking to match up a CF shaft, the joint is 5/16 x 18 and measures .835

Do any of these devices also measure how far the tip of the shaft itself bends offline without losing contact with the cue ball and causing a miscue?
Do any of them measure how much the shaft bends while the tip maintains its position?
Tip deflection VS shaft flexing would be an interesting study when used with studying ball deflection as well as ball spin.
Anytime contact is maintained through accelerated impact more friction is created resulting in more spin being applied to the cue ball.
Just like the shaft on a golf club that flexes and then springs back resulting in greater impact on the golf ball causing greater distance -
A cue shaft that flexes in the middle and then springs back through impact creating more speed while maintaining contact will have an affect on the end result.

Wrapless Ebony Cog

Here is a wrapless Ebony Cognoscenti with a Birdseye wrapless handle. Green pin Cog pin. Just refinished by Mike Durbin. Has 3 shafts. 2 Cog Shafts, 1 @ 12.25mm and at 13mm. Also included is a brand new CF shaft I had made for it by Richard Hsu. $3000 shipped is a great price with the CF shaft.

Butt 16oz
