Communications, or lack thereof, is one of Matchroom's biggest faults. I can't find the prize-fund breakdown. A draw is only available on Digital Pool. There is no information on the MR-WNT site. It's almost like the event doesn't exist. Matchroom does nothing to promote it, other than the initial press release.

Stacked field for such a meager payout. Players fighting for Mosconi/Reyes/WPM points and tuning up ahead of the US Open. Almost all the big names from Arizona and Florida are playing, including ... Eklent Kaci.

Notable omission: Sky Woodward. He's given up chasing Mosconi points. US Open his only chance.

Played kind of a stun/rolled forward the cue ball, 3 ball I believe came 2 rails similar to the below. I don't remember where everything ended up, but I remember thinking Meglino might have a fairly easy bank with position on the 4 which ended up in a better spot, but he opted for a simple safety which ultimately didn't work out.

This was just one example, there were several interesting shot selections by both players in the 90 minutes or so I watched (and like 5-6 games lol)

Pool has a certain aspect about it where there really are no limits. As you play the game you set personal bests. This becomes who you are in the game as it relates to you. High runs, tournament wins, matches where you came from behind to win an unwinnable match. Players you beat when you were the only one in the room who thought you could win.

There will be some point in your life when you've hit the last ball you will ever hit. Everything prior to that will be just memories that only you may remember. You will sit back and look back and remember with pride.

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

There's a 5 dollar app that tells you the speed. Has to do with the distance to the balls and the time it takes from the sound of striking the cb to the sound of striking the head ball. It's accurate and reliable.
